| Starting Stitch |
| 1. Begin the stitch by crossing two scoubidou strands horizontally (yellow) on top of another (red) at their centres. |
2. Take the underneath strand (red) and flip it away from you over the two yellow strands; creating the first loop. |
3. Now take the other end of this scoubidou (red) and flip it towards you over the yellow strands to make a second loop. |
| 4. Take the right side of the yellow scoubidou furthest from you and take it over the first red loop then under the second (like a weave). |
5. Then take the left side of the same yellow scooby and pass it over the loop nearest to it and under the second. |
6. Pick up the right side of the other scoubidou (closest to you) and do the same; over the first loop, under the second. |
| 7. Then take the left side of this scooby string and do the same again, over the loop closest to it and under the second. |
8. Grab the two left yellow strands and the top red with your left hand and the two right yellow strands and the red closest to you with your right and pull very tight. |
9. The stitch should end up looking something like this when you've pull it tight enough! (two Square Stitches next to each other).

Main Body |
| 10. Flip the red scoubidou away from you again creating another loop. |
11. Then take the other side (left) and flip it towards you over the yellow strands to make the second loop. |
12. Pick up the yellow scoubidou furthest from you (on the right) and take it over the first red loop then under the second. |
| 13. Pick up the same scoubidou but the left side this time and take it over the red loop closest to it and under/through the second. |
14. Do the same again with the other yellow scoubidou starting with the right hand side. |
15. And do exactly the same on the left (over the first red loop, under the second). |
| 16. Grab the two left yellow scoubi laces and the bottom red one with your left hand. Then take the two right yellow strands and the top red with your right hand. |
17. Pull all the scooby strands very tight until you are left with a neat, secure Brick Stitch! |
18. This is how the project should look when you have completed a number of Brick Stitches. |
Completion Stitch |
| 19. For the completion stitch create another brick stitch but leave it loose this time. |
20. Grab any one of your strands and take it under the strand to its left then up through the centre of the loose stitch. |
21. Do this with all six scoubidou strands (be careful with the last one) so they are all finishing in the same direction. |
| 22. Pull the strands very tight, each one individually of you need to until you are left with a secure knot that wont unravel! |
23. Carefully snip off the remaining ends using a pair of scissors, but leave about a centimetre. |
| 24. This is how the completed project should look. This is a good stitch to make a keyring from! |
